KDO: Foals pocházejí z Oxfordu a často jsou považováni za průkopníky math rocku. Debutovali v roce 2007 albem Antidotes, které produkoval Dave Sitek z TV on the Radio. Deska se v Anglii dočkala komerčního úspěchu. Také dvojka Total Life Forever (2009) má tzv. zlatý prodejní certifikát, navíc pětici vynesla první nominaci na Mercury Prize.
