Báseň z autobiografie Vzdělání Henryho Adamse byla inspirací pro jedinečnou kompozici Jóhanna Jóhannssona Modlitba k Dynamu, která měla světovou premiéru v roce 2012 na festivalu New Music Festival ve Winnipegu. Mystické a až náboženské setkání Henryho Adamse s novou výbušnou energií na výstavě nazvané Great Hall of Dynamos (v rámci světové výstavy v Paříži 1900) zapůsobilo na Jóhannssona natolik, že do harmonie a hudební struktury své nové skladby integroval zaznamenané zvuky dronů a dynam spolu s hučením o frekvenci 50 Hz.
