Kool & the Gang je americká R&B, soulová a funková skupina založená v Jersey City v štáte New Jersey v roku 1964. Jej zakladajúcimi členmi sú bratia Robert „Kool“ Bell a Ronald Bell (známy aj ako „Khalis Bayyan“), Dennis „Dee Tee“ Thomas, Robert „Spike“ Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, Woodrow „Woody a Ricky Sparrow“. Prešli mnohými personálnymi zmenami a počas svojej histórie preskúmali mnoho hudobných štýlov, vrátane jazzu, rhythm and blues, soulu, funku, disco, rocku a pop music.
