Jakub Stejskal pracuje jako vedoucí výzkumného týmu na semináři dějin umění Masarykovy univerzity. Před tím působil na univerzitách v Basileji a Berlíně. V roce 2014 získal doktorát z estetiky na Univerzitě Karlově. Je autorem řady studií a jedné knihy na pomezí filozofické estetiky, dějin umění, archeologie a antropologie. Jakub Stejskal works as head of a research team of the Department of Art History at Masaryk University. He previously worked at universities in Basil and Berlin. In 2014, he received a doctorate from aesthetics at Charles University. He is the author of a number of studies and one book which addresses the philosophy of aesthetics, art history, archeology and anthropology. Metakunsthistorie is his first book published in Czech.
