Even for children, fashion is more than just clothes, it is a means of self-expression. For this reason, it has become common practice for fashion labels and designer to launch their own line for kids. The selection of designers in this book is international, although most collections come from Belgium, Holland, France and Italy, countries where kids' fashion is especially valued. Each designer is introduced through many different photographs from articles, catalogues and look-books, as well as various sketches and moods. These images are accompanied by a short blurb describing the designers' personal background and the philosophy behind their label.
