KDO: The Shadows byla hlavně instrumentální, ale také vokální anglická hudební skupina, která se zformovala v roce 1958 jako doprovodné kytarové kombo s původním názvem The Drifters během prvního koncertního turné zpěváka Cliffa Richarda. Jejími ústředními členy byli kytarista Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch a Brian Bennet. Sir Cliff Richard (rozený jako Harry Rodger Webb) je jedním z nejúspěšnějších britských zpěváků všech dob. Jako jeden z mála anglofonních zpěváků vytvořil také úspěšné nahrávky v cizích jazycích, mj. v němčině a japonštině. V r. 1995 byl britskou královnou, jako první rocková hvězda, pasován na rytíře s právem užívat titul Sir.
