Thompson Twins bola britská popová skupina založená v roku 1977 v Sheffielde. Spočiatku to bola skupina novej vlny, prešli na viac mainstreamový popový zvuk a na začiatku a v polovici 80. rokov dosiahli značnú popularitu, pričom zaznamenali sériu hitov v Spojenom kráľovstve, Spojených štátoch a po celom svete. V roku 1993 si zmenili meno na Babble, aby odrážali ich zmenu v hudbe z popu na chill-out ovplyvnený dubom. Pokračovali ako Babble až do roku 1996, kedy sa skupina natrvalo rozpadla. Dokonalá kolekcia, ktorá zahŕňa celú ich kariéru: od úsvitu post-punku až po štadiónový synth-pop a ešte ďalej. „Industry & Seduction“ je prvou retrospektívou skupiny Thompson Twins, ktorú pripravili v spolupráci s členmi kapely Tomom Baileyom, Alannah Currie a Joeom Leewayom. Kolekcia, ktorá spája hudbu z celej ich prelomovej kariéry, zachytáva celý vývoj jednej z najdobrodružnejších a najvynaliezavejších popových kapiel 80. rokov.
